A New Devotional to Start Your Year
3m read
Dear AudioVerse Friend,
Recently we received the following testimony from an AudioVerse listener in Fort Mitchell, Alabama:
"While driving I used to "settle" for whatever nonsense came along on the radio, or even mulling over my own frustrations. Neither of those were productive. Then I found AudioVerse. Now washing dishes is an enlightening experience, distance driving allows for growth and paradigm shifts that empower my prayer life, and I'm always challenged and assisted in reaching my spiritual goals. Thank you, Lord, for AudioVerse!"
How true it is that there are constantly a myriad of things vying to occupy our thoughts and our time that result in no benefit to ourselves—sometimes even resulting in positive harm!
Everywhere I go, I hear similar testimonies from people of how AudioVerse has helped them improve their time by allowing them to fill their thoughts with spiritual and uplifting themes, rather than the distractions from the world and our own imaginations. These testimonies all serve to remind us not to settle in allowing just anything to enter our minds.
After all, the Bible counsels:
"Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things." - Philippians 4:8
This is one of the reasons why we have invested so much attention in improving and redesigning our entire web experience over the past year. We want our users to be able to find access to the AudioVerse media in as seamless and distraction-free of a manner as possible. We believe good technology should recede into the background and allow God’s Word to be paramount.
I shared in our previous newsletter that the beta version of our new site is now live, and you can take it for a test drive right now! All we ask in return is for you to let us know any feedback you may have to help us make the service as solid and stable as possible before the final release. Thank you to those of you who have already been sending in your feedback!

If AudioVerse has been a blessing to you as it has been to our friend from Alabama, we invite you to partner with us financially through a gift today.
AudioVerse has been a constant source of encouragement and instruction for countless individuals around the world. Our service allows individuals to access sound doctrine anywhere, anytime, from the convenience of their own personal devices. And the Holy Spirit has been able to influence these souls in profound ways as they can fill their time listening to God’s Word expounded to them. We give people a Bible-based alternative, so they don’t have to settle for the media that we are inundated with today.
We have a lot of exciting plans in the new year, but it will only be possible with your generous financial support. Besides the big initiatives we have to reach more people and to improve our services, our overall cost of operating has been going up with the broader economy. While we are careful to work within our means and have always been efficient with our budget, we don’t want to scale back our ambitions for God. And with your help, we won’t have to.
So during this holiday season, please prayerfully consider partnering with us with a financial contribution today. Your help is needed more than ever.
You may give online at our donate page, or by check to our address below. If you wish to give by credit card without the ministry incurring a credit card transaction fee, simply select the PayPal Giving Fund option on our donate page. Also, as you do your holiday shopping, consider using our AmazonSmile link to support us at no extra cost to you.
Thank you for your partnership.
Not settling,
